Our Cone Mounts are designed to work in both compression and shear. The Cone Mountings consists of an inner and outer metal cone and are supplied with stop and centering washers. These washers prevent deformation under extreme compression or tensile stresses providing the mounting with a failsafe mechanism. The washers also help by protecting the natural rubber from ozone and dripping oil.
